  1. Have followed the DivX to VCD Guide burnt the disc with VCDEasy , but when I came to play it back both on computer and standalone DVD it was unwatchable , the picture is all blocks and the audio is garbled .
The original DivX is excellent quality . DVD is a BUSH DVD2004 other VCD on same media play fine.

    Any relevent suggestion welcome .

  2. Try to use other templates of TMPGenc (wich are you using ??). The blocks on DVD often are due to a bad bitrate on the template (the more usual is until 1150, more of that depends on your DVD). Besides, take care if you use NTSC (frame rate 29.97) or PAL (frame rate 25) ... Ok. Thats on your DVD. If there are blocks in your PC, (and I suppose you are using templates of Constant Bit Rate) try to change the "Motion Search Precision" to High Quality or even Highest Quality (this change are made clicking on Setting bar after you have loaded the templates). Well, try another templates or setting on templates ... its my suggestion ... good luck !!
